Last year we had the honor of wiring up a old LRT car at the Waterloo Region Museum.

The original job was a simple task however it snowballed into a bigger project once ESA came through.

Because the equipment came from another country ESA completed an inspection and required us to draw out a schematic of how the LRT is wired because there were none provided.

Tracing all the wiring (all DC voltage) was very interesting and was able to complete everything up to ESA standards.

After review ESA required the power supplies be changed to have a low current output and a short circuit safety mechanism provided to protect public safety.

Last week we disconnected the unit so that it can move to another home.

Great interesting project that you don't come by too often.
